J MILLER TOBIN STUDIO

FROM DIRECTING TELEVISION TO SHAPING CLAY AND FORGING STEEL

After a career as a television director, J. Miller Tobin turned his creative eye toward a different kind of storytelling. In 2020, he began working with clay and metal — trading cameras and sets for the pottery wheel, forge, and anvil.

J Miller Tobin Studio is where clay, metal, fire, and a little imagination come together. What began as a creative pursuit has grown into a love of making pieces by hand - no two exactly alike. Each piece is made to be enjoyed, used, and lived with.
